amazing bass! good buy! I wish i had a job.. i have an urge to mod my bass... its a MIM Fender Jazz.... natural finish and rosewood neck. and it looks like this:

so i was thinking.. what should i upgrade first? pick-ups or pickguard??

Depends what you like about it, if you like the tone better than the looks, get a pickguard. If you like the looks better than the tone, improve the tone with pickups.

But, the pickguard is easier, so if you haven't done work modding before, it's probably best to go with the pickguard.

I won't say a color. I think of an instrument as a blank slate, and the musician the artist. You should express yourself, pick the color own your own. It feels better than having someone else tell you what your bass should look like.

Nope, I have a J-O-B with a P-A-Y-C-H-E-C-K. So I don't get paid to shorten grass...

Also, I go to a tech school and take auto body. Next year I'm going to see if I can get a job at a body shop.

It's 2009, not 1909. Don't underestimate 16 year olds.

If it was 1909 you would have already started a family and bass would not be a distraction.
