Just to avoid confusion with the other 5 string thread. I am looking for a good five string bass that works with slap and pop, tapping and funk but CAN work with metal and rock aswell. I know thats asking for a lot, but you guys seem really well informed(im new here so yeah.) so lets see what we can get.

i really like my stingray 5 H. it has an amazing slap tone... but the tight string spacing does make it a bit difficult to adjust to. it cuts through great in a heavy rock setting as well
thats good because my ibanez right now has super close strings I like how the musicman looks too. The only thing is its really expensive.
