might sound great, but 350 watts fo ampeg solid state dosnt go too far imo and ime.
gk heads like the 800rb and 700rb put out a loud 350ish watts though.
you can get a 600watt acrvin head for a little more than that, new!

How do we know the poster isn't asking about combo amps?
If it's combos, I'd recommend the Ashdown Electric Blue 180 15" That is a killer combo amp for $350 brand new.

I would seriously recommend looking at the Acoustic B200 combo amp, exactly $350 new. It was the most satisfying purchase I ever made!!!

Ouch! That dude is heavy at 77 lbs! If it wasn't for the price range, I'd recommend a Markbass combo but they are all out of his price range, even a used one.
I used to own one. It was heavy, bulky, and not loud enough for what it was. There was reason they discontinued it and came out with the 450. It could barely push two of their own Classic cabs loud enough without the limiter kicking in and distorting terribly.
Hater, nope. It was a bad design.
well i have nothing but good things to say about the amp, being an owner myself. i find it is more than loud enough without support from the PA, and i play LOUD music.
I'm happy you like it. Sorry for the "hate" quote, but I think that the SVT350H was utter ****. I can back that claim up with various reasons. Those being weight (for a 350 watt amp, i rather get a lightweight Markbass), insufficient wattage (easiest amp to clip for it's claimed wattage), difficult to eq, and that it is unreliable.
all of my experiences with this amp suggest otherwise. and everyone loves markbass, but it's not exactly affordable, and definitely not under $350.
Gallien Krueger - used RB 400, 800 or 700.
I really like older SWR stuff. Redface 350, SM 400, Basic 350 combo.
Peavey Firebass. Any of them.
The deal is that light weight equipment is "in." There are some killer deals to be had on equipment that is out of vogue because it is on the heavier side.
