BEST BASS CABS FOR RECORDING

I totally agree that small cabs often mic up better in a studio than large cabs, but I don't hear the blanket thing with the 410he and 410hlf anymore. There was a time from 2000-2006 that I did, but the cabs made since then fixed the issues the older versions had.

JimmyM might be right about that. The ones i have/tried were pre 2006 so could be that issue. If new ones are fixed to the blanket issue they will be a very really nice option. Specially the HLF, although the weight it sounded fuller and rounder than HE
But again i think for studio/recording purposes a HLF is just too much. Even the HE. I will stick to 2x10 if 10's are your choice (don't know if you are recording per track or live full band, if latter, then 4x10 might be the answer, otherwise, don't see that necessary)
