Best bass for $1,500

If you like the Ibanez thin necks like I do (I have 3 of them), you could also try a Schecter. My SLS Elite 5 was something like $1,350 or so IIRC. It plays like an Ibanez and is stone cold beautiful with a couple color versions. I have short fingers and my Schecter plays effortless for me. It has more tone choices than any bass I've ever seen and it seems you have a variety of music you're trying to get. This bass and the Evil Twin version of it have Fishman humbuckers, a pot that pulls to make them single coil instead of double coil, a 3 way mid-EQ switch for modern, funk, and old school, and tone, volume, and blend knobs. I can make this bass sound like a P bass or a metal bass and everything in between very easily. There a few good YouTube demos out there if you want to watch them.
