Master Effects Super 300 is the top SVT style preamp IMO.

What is the pedal on the right?
I have never heard of this company. I browsed their website and was impressed by the video of the Master Effects Super 300. Sounds great!
That is the Blackhawk amplifier v2 Asgard... my current fav high gain device. What is the pedal on the right?
Thanks for the tips. They were somme pretty solid suggestions there... After trying to purchase a Brouhton SV-Pre for months (with the frustration arriving too late once or twice...), i finally purchased a second-hand Tech21 VT Bass deluxe V2, that ticked a lot of boxes : defeatable amp sim on Jack, decent analog sounding, xlr output, and as a bonus is programmable (which wasn't needed at first, but playing on a cover band it will allow me to have sound options).
Now i wonder if there is a way to midify the thing...I suppose search never ends

I own one and it really shapes up the tone/signal of your amp. I have been having an issue lately with my amp's limit light illuminating occasionally, which really isn't a big deal but I get paranoid about stuff like that. I have to push my amp a bit due to the heavy handed, basher of a drummer in our band. You probably won't have this issue. But if you do, try running the Tech 21 with the "active" switch on your amp (if you have that option) in the "on" position. I have yet to try this but it sounds like some real good advice (from a fellow TBer). Otherwise, I think you will be very pleased with what the Tech 21 is capable of... and yes, the presets are a nice bonus.
Yeah, I do not have an effects loop on my amp, so I have to run it in front of my amp's pre-amp section. I think it's just too much! Already looking for an overdrive pedal to replace it. I am very interested in the E-H Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi.Didn't tried in rehasal/live so far (no wonder why^^), but i in record it's really a nice tool to have. Settings have a deep impact and one needs to take time and check every interaction to find the perfect setting, though it accomodate lots of styles. I noticed indeed it can have a pretty hot output level when plugging into my Hi-Z input, so to handle with care. About what you mention, i would probably use it in return loop, i believe it's suited to that kind of levels, and wouldn't worry much more about clipping. But that depends of the amp obviously (if he features an FX loop, and impedance of the loop).
