Best Bass Strings For Through Bodies

It depends on the instrument so you will need to measure or at least list the make and model if you know it.

Some require at least a 37" winding and some need 38" or longer!

A Fender Jazz deluxe needs at least a 37" winding.
I ordered an ESP LTD Deluxe B-1004 bass. It is a 34" scale and 42mm nut width. I like DR strings a lot, but not sure how they fare in through bodies

D'Addario you would most likely need Extra Long unless you measure the instrument.

Here is a listing of string lengths by manufacturer. My guess is you would need at least 37.25"... But you might be able to use 37" but you would need to measure to be sure.
