I say the modulus Q5. I love mine because it fits in EVERY possible situation and its reliable beyond saying. Now given that you will lose some warmth but with the right rig I dont see it to be as obvious. Now ive never played a flea but the Q5 just has more options tonally

In the end its your decision. and I am biased because im not a huge warwick fan, though they are amazing basses if thats your thing. Regardless I think youll be happy

I've said this many times...the word "best" should be stricken from being used in thread titles here on TB. There is no such thing as "best". It's all preference. what you like and really want could be considered really bad by someone else, and vice versa.

and your username is lakland! you are killing me! so what do you like the most, your thumb or mod? do you have mod q?

Yes my user name is lakland.... and none of them were in this poll... so i obviously didnt choose it.
I currently own none of the basses in this poll but have either owned or extensively played all four.
Currently saving cash for a roscoe.

for the record I loved my thumb for the band I was in at the time. A modulus wouldve done well also but not as good as the thumb. However looking back at all the bands ive been in if I could have only chosen one of these four to play in all those bands it would be the modulus. warwicks sound awesome but they always seem to sound like warwicks... and that isnt always what i want.
