Best bass I've played, period, at any price level, though the most expensive I've owned were Spector Repobs, which are great basses in their own right.
Has tremendous mid-range punch with those Quarter Pounder pickups. Plays easily and with very low action, neck is thin like a jazz. Perfect for rock and metal, and has the looks to go with it.
It's less than a Squier but many times the bass, and frankly the Squiers are really nice for the money, but if you directly compare the two which I did, they do not compare at all. I like these so much I sold my VM Jaguar which I actually liked, but it just wasn't in the same league, and these are cheaper.
