Now give your opinion on where some of the best beer comes from, I'm making a poll to cover some of the main countries. I know I will somehow screwup and not mention a certain country, so thats why I'm putting a few "other" options and post the country that should be mentioned. you have three choices use them well:D

Belgium hands down. i'm not saying that because i live in belgium, i'm not even belgian. belgians really know how to make beers, and a close second would be germany. imo US beers are just water, like most beers from the UK.

I voted American because of all the little local micro breweries. Take a trip to the Northwest, and it's like a beer drinkers Disney Land! I also have a lot of love for the Caribbean breweries. Nothin better than a cold Red Stripe on a hot day!

:hmm: Here we go with the stereotypes again...:scowl: So the 1600 breweries that were operating, and operating profitably, in the US PRIOR to PROHIBITION were selling water at 5 cents a glass and calling it "beer"? :eyebrow:

And by "US beers" do you mean...

Amber / Red Ale
Barley Wine
Blonde Ale
Brown Ale
Dark Wheat Ale
Double / Imperial IPA
Double / Imperial Stout
IPA
Pale Ale (APA)
Pale Wheat Ale
Porter
Stout
Strong Ale
Wild Ale
Chile Beer
Cream Ale
Pumpkin Ale
Rye Beer
Wheat Wine
All-Malt Lager
Amber / Red Lager
Double / Imperial Pilsner
Macro Lager
Malt Liquor
California Common / Steam Beer
or...
light lager? :eyebrow:

edit: louie's not happy.

edit, part deux: oh, and Mexico shouldn't get their own category...ALL beer in Mexico is German style lagers because many Germans were kicked out of the states during the World Wars.

edit: louie's still not happy.
