best chain restaurants

Okay, so best chain restaurants. I figure most of them are going to be smaller chains and upper end, but let's just see.

I'm going to start with:

Biaggi's - a small Italian chain - I think less than 10 stores nationwide
Carrabas - another good Italian chain
Ruths Crist - great steaks
Eddy Merlot - high end steak house

This probably needs to be broken down into categories:
High-end: Ruth's Chris, Morton's, Smith & Wollensky
Mid-grade: Taco Mac (local - great wings and 100+ beers on tap), Outback, Sushi Avenue (two of 'em in a one-mile radius near me.. sounds like a chain!), Five Guys
Low-end: TACO BELL, Krystal :bassist:

Chipotle is phenomenal and I cannot resist it, I eat there at least once a week. I'm pretty sure it's only in the midwest though. Otherwise I try to avoid non-local food joints. Supporting your local economies and avoiding big conglomerate corporations as much as possible FTW.

Chipotle is owned by McDonalds and I believe it's nationwide. Living in California, there are a million fantastic authentic burrito places, but for a bit of a different taste Chipotle is a place that I dig too.

Macaroni Grill isn't bad for a chain. I don't know how widespread it is, but on the lower end of things I like Togo's.

Johnny Carino's
Texas Roadhouse

texas roadhouse is great. love the cinnamon butter.
