Okay I can't really say it is the best christmas song ever but we are having a really good time playing it. We start out with a ukulele and build from there. I asked my son for a penny whistle for christmas and that would go real nice in the beginning of this one. Well, maybe next year. I really like the video too, it's all about celebrating and having fun. Something I think most of us like. I admit to being a big overgrown kid.

Greg Lake's "I believe in Father Christmas" I think it's called is a really pretty song, I really like that one. And I like a lot of chorale type church Christmas songs. Not much for the more jingle-jangle secular Santa Claus stuff but there's a few that are alright.

A friend of mine's band wrote a Christmas song quite a few years ago now called "Will you bail me out on Christmas" which is really pretty good, not just for the jokey lyrics but also the music they put to it really nails the Christmas song vibe. You can jingle sleigh bells along with it just you would a tambourine in more popular type music. :D

I also like Fairytale of New York, Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses and the old Wizzard tune.

I'm with you on this as well.

On a slightly more serious note, Vince Guaraldi's O Tannenbaum swings hard (w/ Monty Budwig on double bass).

And on a completely serious note, Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring is a great composition.

The wife and I celebrate Solstice in contrast to Christmas, but the music's still there. Much of it is pretty hard to take, but there are a few gems.

Imo, he's one of the most underappreciated "true" rock'n'rollers ever.

This song is also my first time singing with the band. I will be joining one of our singers in the part that goes do do do do do
I hope I can remember the words. :D
