I’ve got a Rumble 500 combo and have gone head to head with a couple of Deluxe Reverb amps no problem, provided your guitar players understand volume discipline.

One more vote for the Fender Rumble 500 , all positives and no cons .
The OP was clear that he wants a combo. He's looking for the convenience and not all mfgs "skimp" on the cabinet for a combo.
Not to single your post out; but, responding to Q’s about combos with advice to get separates is a long time TB thing; IME.My point was not to rag on all combos, but I found when I was looking for a new rig that if you are in the Mark Bass combo price range there are a lot more options in separates.
I realize you're trying to help the OP but I'm pretty sure he's aware that separates exist. My point was not to rag on all combos, but I found when I was looking for a new rig that if you are in the Mark Bass combo price range there are a lot more options in separates.

Maybe you got a lemon or something. If if really did sound like that or wasnt versatile, I'm sure it wouldnt have such a large following.Sounds like a fart covered in a blanket isn't a con?
I have two of them, much easier for an old guy versus my old head and can. I use a A/B Y pedal and a for my Ric a Ric box on them. Great plenty of output. Never had an issue with them.I have a GK MB-212 MkII. Had it for years. Where does it rank? I dont know - Ive never sat in a music store and A/B combos all day...I can tell you that it is Class D/Lightweight and very reliable

Yes they do. Example; compare GK 112 combo and the GK 12” neo cabinet. Same price. Saving $$ on something in the combo. Most combos skimp on the cab and that is what is really important

Yeah. I was looking at the combo or a cab. I have a head and an old 112 cab. Want to upgrade to something a little lighter. I am curious of the quality of speaker/amp in the combo.Ok, I thought you were suggesting that the Neo combos were compromised.
You're comparing price between Neo cabinet and MB combo.
