Best double bass gigbag

I love my Reunion Blues Continental Voyager single, a great bag. But I chickened out when I saw the price tag of the dual and went with the Gator Pro Go 2, which was about half the price. I asked a similar question about dual gig bags and got a lot of strong recommendations for the Gator so, even though I wanted the RB, I bought the Gator.

I only got to use it for two gigs before the COVID-19 restrictions took effect, but it does seem like a pretty nice bag, is well padded, and seems like it will protect my basses well.

A dual bass gig bag is different from a double bass gig bag...

The Gator dual bag is significantly thicker/deeper overall than the Mono. If you’re concerned purely with protection then I’d actually argue the Gator may be a bit better. The Mono is way more comfortable to carry around and wear though, due to being less bulky.

Gator on the left, Mono on the right.
