Best flatwound strings for Jack Casady bass

I've just bought an Epiphone Jack Cassidy bass and I'm wondering which would be the best flatwound strings to bring out the woody, mellow qualities of the semi-hollow bass - almost a double bass sound. Strings I'm considering:
Pyramid Golds
Tomastik Infelds
Rotosound 88 Tru Bass black tapewounds
Thanks in advance.

I'm a fan of low tension strings actually, I might consider those then. I'm still waiting for it to arrive, I managed to get one of the limited edition Silverburst ones.
I have a Silverburst also and it's a great bass. Right now I have D'addario Tapewounds on it and they sound fantastic. The only flats I tried were Ernie Ball Cobalts which were fantastic at first but I didn't like them on that bass after a little break in time. My favorite string for that bass, and it is the one Jack uses, is Dean Markley SS Blue Steels. It really is a match made in heaven! Unfortunately they are roundwounds.

I have an Ibanez Artcore ASB140. Had a Casady years ago, they're not all that dissimilar. Anyway, I have D'Addario Black Nylon Tapewounds on mine and think they sound great.

I've tried a number of strings from a number of manufacturers and I've standardized on Thomastik Jazz Flats on all my basses. They don't sound dull and lifeless like other flats -- they've got definition and detail with no string noise. The strings are smooth as butter and have low tension so they're easy to play.

Since they're nade in Austria, they cost a pretty penny, but they last for years with no perceptible loss of tone.
