Best gear I purchased in 2022

I didn't get much for gear this year. Mostly strings. I did pick up a used JHS reverb pedal but that was the most extravagant purchase for 2022. I need a new cab. A 210, 115 or a 112. Need some that that is easy to carry that'll be good for rehearsals and small gigs. That'll be my big purchase for 2023.

Suhr J classic courtesy of Mr. John Fox (thank you), purchased it to gig with as I own a Suhr NAMM that is too expensive to go around with so is now for studio work only. The consistency of these basses (both sound amazing and were built 10 years apart) is out of this world.

Vox head phone amp. All I really need to practice at home. It has a built-in drum machine with a few patterns, an aux input so you can play along with input from whatever and, enough power to drive most headphones. And, CHEAP like $50. I'm sure this has been posted before but, I just had to bring it up again.

I bought a Mesa WD-800 which is totally awesome. Fits in perfectly with what we are trying to accomplish band wise. I highly recommend them.

Gretsch SS. 37 year old Rebel for $350. Cheap Glarry Strat that I have already modded.

This handsome little rig, damn near mint. I happened upon it at Sam Ash and went back to grab it the next day. Marked $500 for both (!) but I traded some stuff and was barely out of pocket.

The Doubler ended up having a "farty" sound when digging in on lower notes that I didn't discover until later, but I'm having a tech check it out soon. I opted not to return it bc EA is gone now, and this stuff is hard to come by as it is.

I got a great deal on a Shuttle 6.2-210 Combo. I already had one so I ordered an EXT crossover and handle from agedhorse and converted the cab to a STL-2-210EXT.

Also....In my quest for a nice playing 4003, I landed this '86 from another local TBer. Its a little beat, but plays oh so nice....

Then out of nowhere... along comes this 2007 4003FL. I couldn't resist...
