Double Bass Best Gigging Cabinet

I just ordered a new cabinet from Revsound. They have a great reputation and they are feather light. Spoke to the owner, David, about what I wanted and he was super helpful. I ordered the 15” cabinet - it weighs 25 pounds.

I have a RS115 and LOVE it.

I have a Phil Jones C4. It's an amazing cab that sounds bigger, deeper, and punchier than its size suggests!!!

I love my Genzler BA10-2.

It can sound really neutral or like whatever you want.

I personally like to crank the high end on my amps for a more detailed sound. The Genzler can provide it without getting harsh like some other cabs

What are some amp heads / stand alone power amps one can pair those cabs with ? Thanks.

I fear this thread is going to cost me money I don't need to spend as I already have a Barefaced Super Midget. The RevSound 28 sounds very good even through the camera mic on the video. I've also been tempted by the GR110 and PJB C4. I hear so many good things about the MAS cabs but unfortunately never see them in the UK.
I still have my old SWR Baby Blue 2x8 cab in the amp graveyard in my cellar. I was going to replace or recone the speakers but picking it up reminded me how heavy it is for its size.

I use a Aguilar Tone Hammer 350 with a Barefaced Super Midget and love the combination - although since I got a Barefaced One10 the Super Midget doesn't leave the house, even though its the better cab of the two

Anything you want. I use mine with an Acoustic Image Clarus for upright, or an Aguilar AG700 for doubling, and I have a GK MB Fusion 800 for electric only. The Barefaced cabs (also have a BB2 and One10) all work great for upright. I recently used the One10 by itself and it has a fatter more old school sound, whereas the Super Midget has a more hifi sound with a lot of clarity and detail…(the BB2 has a lot of that too, but is deeper sounding and crisper…the Super Midget is a better choice for most upright gigs). The One10 with a tweeter is next on my list.

I just recently picked up a minty Euphonic Audio Whizzy 112 M Line. Works great for small gigs. Looking for a nice amp to pair with it…maybe a Genzler Magellan 350?
