Best guitar for bass?

yeah confusing I know. So I'm looking to add something to my pedalboard as I'm wanting to throw some baritone guitar into some things we are doing. I'm looking for something that will help the guitar sound more like a guitar instead of a guitar being played through a massive bass rig, if that makes sense. Any thoughts? I know there's some players here that do both but I don't know if it's a simple EQ thing or if a dedicated preamp like a Two Notes Le-X would help. Thoughts?

Depends on what the bass rig is, really. And what kind of bari sound you want.

I've played baritone and VI through mine just adding reverb and a little EQ change and it sounded great.

The only deal breaker would probably be if your cab has a horn you can't disable. Those usually sound bad with guitar.

I'm running a Meatsmoke Pre into a GK RB700II into a GK 412 Neo. I'm mostly looking to do ambient swell stuff. I've got the reverb, delay stuff covered but unless I kill the bass on the amp EQ, I get absolutely blown out by bass at times. I'd imagine if I EQ the preamp and change the gain and junk I could make it work but seeing as I'd be switching between songs and such, I'd love to see what I could do with a pedal or two
