you'd need a second 810 to hear yourself with Full Marshall Stacks. Especially with one right next to you. I love it though.Well I used one of these this past weekend, and it was not enough for the metal.
Not sure what model it was, but it was not loud enough to keep up with the full stacks and hard hitting drummer.
I wanted to use my rack setup, but change over times were short so I went with what was on stage.
Sounded good, just not loud enough. had to stand right over the monitor wedge to hear myself.

Amps were all about 5 - 8 feet out from the back wall I think.
If you can afford it, get a vintage Orange Carrote (NOT the reissue)! With it the bass will practically punch the listener in the face (but the reissue is wimpy as $$$$$$$$$)
