I have honestly never tried a Sadowsky, but have trouble understanding why someone would pay the extra cost for one. Maybe if I tried one I would understand. On the other hand, Fender Road Worn's are pretty amazing and I could buy about 4 of them for the price of an American Sadowsky. Or buy 2 of them and then spend the remaining money to do some modding to them.
Is a Sadowsky that much better than an American G&L JB?
Best Jazz bass I've played or owned was my custom Bacchus 24DX Claro Walnut. Simply amazing sounding and tonally bass. The one bass I regret getting rid of.
