Weight is going to vary from bass to bass. Some manufacturers will be lighter, just based on dimensions, but they will vary even within models.
Ibanez will likely be the lightest, as they're very small bodies. Sterling By Music Man will likely be heaviest, with Fender in close 2nd. BUT, there are gems in each of those companies lines. Just pick them up & see what feels comfortable.
