I kind of like the blue strings on it, and Jens sent an extra set with it, so I'll use them first - but I plan to switch to regular strings when they're dead, as I think that will also look great (and they're cheaper )

I a little more of a traditional guy as far as bass looks go, but that one always grabs me!

Ya know, I'm definitley a purist and huge Fender fan, but this bass is intriguing. Very cool.

I think it carries more weight if you post someone else's bass, since of course people like their own! I'm going to go off in a completely different direction from most here - I know it probably puts me squarely in the minority, but I love the 335 shape on a bass, like this one from andysvec:

and main_sale has a very nice collection, including this one:

As much as I like translucent cherry, black is far and away my favorite (dig the P-bass Holy War posted), so this would be my preferred look:

However, it's not on TalkBass so it doesn't count!
