Best looper EVER

After owing almost every looper pedal out there , I find that the best looper to actually play live with is a 30$ app on iPad called Loopy pro

Sounds good Ilan. Going to be hard to sell it as the best looper ever.

In real time it is a $30 app (unless you want to upgrade), + the cost of your chosen iPad + creating an Apple account to get the app + the purchase of a blue tooth foot controller if you want to use it to play bass live.

I suspect that is the reason there is still great appeal for the single integrated well built stomp worthy hardware loopers. Cheers

I was saying Best Ever because of how it works
Wasn’t saying it’s the cheapest solution

but I truly recommend it if you already have an iPad or iPhone … and a cheap solution for the footcontrol can be the irig blueboard .. 50$ , works perfect

How do the controls and features compare to a more high end looper like, say, a Boomerang III?

I watched a couple minutes of that first video. If all of the functions that were enabled via touching the iPad can't be remotely controlled via a footswitch, it's a non-starter.

Plus you need a sound card. And there is the chance of latency. But the app can probably do much more than most loopers can. I don’t know the app.

I actually use it with Keith McMillan softstep2 wirelessly and it work perfectly !!

i once even tested it with both the softstep2 and iRig blueboard at the same time , had no issues

You create the interface however you want and you can assign the foot control to anything on that you have on the screen

you can configure it as you want …. Decide how the loopers act , I think there are more options than a boomerang

and from my experience…. Even better , I never “miss” a loop and its so easy to re record a loop
