Best multi scale bridge?

I'm building my first bass and being a bit ambitious with a multi scale 6 string. Just wondering what other people have used for their multi scale builds. I was looking at Kahler, but it seems really over complicated to set up. I'm a big fan of simple and clean.

So, what are your opinions on Kahler bridges? Or would I be better off with Hipshot singles? Other suggestions?

I should also mention that I am going for 16mm spacing.

I think they actually make an angled bridge. I was just wondering if they're as difficult to work with as they seem. I've also heard that they are quite tall making it hard to achieve low action.

Agreed, simplicity is a wonderful thing. That alone would lead me to Hipshot singles. No experience with the Kahler, but they do seem quite complex.

If this is the case, you can compensate by routing your neck pocket a little less deep.

Must it be one-piece bridge? If not, there are "single string" bridges available, search google. BTW, most multiscale basses use exactly them as there is no limitation to scale and string spacing.

Thanks for the responses guys! I think I'm going to go with the hipshot singles. I have a couple hipshot bridges already and love them, so I may as well stick with what I know, at least for my first build.
