Best Online Racing game??

Does anyone remember MCO? Motor City online by EA for PC. My son & I were addicted to that game and still experience moments of sadness when we think about it. 60's beach music usually gets us thinking about it.
So what's good these day's for online racing?

Depends what you're looking for.
Serious simulations like Live For Speed, rfactor 2, Iracing and the such are good for realistic races. Otherwise Test Drive Unlimited 2, any Need for Speed, Gran Turismo, forza etc are great for arcade style games and modding of cars.

Thanks for the reply man. I will check some of these out. Some I have heard of but some are new to me. It will give my son & I something else to do together.

There are many interesting online games. It all depends on what your preferences are in genres?

I remember playing screamer and thinking that was fun. Long time ago, though.

I remember my favorite racing game was Carmageddon. I tried out the latest release; can be fun. Not very hot tho.

Sure enjoyed Forza 4.

The races in GTAV Online are a laugh but if you want to get the most out of them you really need to race with friends. Rockstar has been trying to get the hackers out of the game but they still show up and ruin races.

Forza, in all it's versions, was always my favorite. Need For Speed was great but the online iteration was no bueno IMO.
