The SAK gets pulled from the vest pocket when there's no bottle opener, or when the grandkid needs a splinter pulled.Spot on. The SKA for me sits in the bedside table drawer, whereas the Leatherman is with the bicycle tools.
It's useless when the brake jams.
The Leatherman, OTOH is also somewhat useless in hands that can operate a SAK but not much more.
Apart from the Pliers, which I really like, it is a sub-optimal tool that strictly follows the rule that the best tool is the one you have with you - and when you can't do the task with a proper tool, you won't be doing it with a Leatherman either.
