Best portable all aroung Bass Cab

I'm using a Euphonic Audio Wizzy 12. It's light and sounds fantastic.
My personal choice happened to be a Mesa Subway rig. A D-800+ with 2 112s.
Notice that in general, the more power a single smaller speaker can handle, the lower the sensitivity is. So you might "need" more watts to get to the same decibels with these light weight cabs. So you should consider the amp and speakers together when putting together a rig.
IMHO the Mesa Subway stuff is designed so well, you can't have a bad cab amp pairing. And that line of amps is the current industry standard.

Best is totally subjective...that said I use the 411Live clone of an Aguilar Gs112 loaded with an Eminence Legend for most things...an Eden 112EX for tiny gigs...anything more goes thru the PA.

They also have wheels. The PF-115HE or PF-210HE can both be found for about $250 used.How many watts do you need? I heard Ampeg Portaflexes are great cabs, not terribly heavy and expensive either.
I agree with the latest post and just received a Mesa boogie d800 head. I'm now saving for the 15 inch cab, I heard a guy playing through that set up at a bar and it was quite good, he used the direct out to the pa. I'm with you on not dragging heavy stuff around any more and this seems to be the fix.

Dont know how much power you need but im using a fender rumble 200 15", super light and sounds decent for the price. I know theres better, but it's hard to beat the price

GS112NT is a 1x12" only.

I have that same opinion. I used to have a Markbass rig, and I thought it sounded *VERY* average.
The Mesa Subway 115 checks all of your boxes.

Based on your answers thus far, I would say you need a bass cabinet. Maybe two if you need extra juice.
With a little flexing of the EQ on your amplifier head, all of the configurations you mentioned could work, though a 1x15 might be a little chunky for tight funk. And a single 2x10 a little tight for big, heavy stuff.
If you're playing gigs where PA support is supplied, then honestly, it's a matter of personal taste (since your cab will mostly be a personal monitor) and not a make-or-break tone situation. Without PA, you'll want more headroom and speaker surface area.
I was running a vertical stack pair of 2x10 cabs, one transparent and one colorfully characteristic, and it sounded great. Now I'm running a versatile 1x12 and it sounds great.
This is all very generic because the overall discussion has been generic. With some more details about the music to be played, the venues, sound support, the head being used, and maybe the kinds of pedals in play, some more specific recommendations (beyond purely subjective/personal favorites as have been given thus far) can be made.

A few years ago I bought a Carvin MB15 recommended by 1stnamebassist here on Talk Bass. I think it's a great rig, with the neo speakers I had them use, it weighs 27 pounds, rated 200 watts, or 250 with the matching 115MBE extension cabinet. You'll have to find it used since Carvin doesn't sell amps anymore.
