I'm only running 2 things, a sansamp and a boss tu2. I have a onespot with the daisy chain, and when I turn either one on, the power light flashes on both. Any suggestions? I don't plan on using any more than these two ever, really.

Best power supply?

Thanks for the response. Yes, I am. The onespot was all I had provided to me. Is there a different supply you'd recommend?
Which SansAmp product? I'll assume the BDDI in which case our DC2 power supply or any power supply with the same specs. You can order it here if you like. Invalid Link Removed
Try not using the courtesy jack on the TU2 and sending a separate cable to each effect and see if this solves the problem. Or just power one of the effects with a battery,. My guess is that using the TU2 courtesy jack is causing the problem. We always recommend the pedal power but for just 2 effects pedals it's probably over kill. The One Spot may work if you use their multi cable and go to each effect but then you have all those unused plugs dangling about.

with only those two pedals, it might be worth it just use manufacturer power supplies and just get a small 2-3 plug power strip. If you don't use any sort of board, you could build a small one for your two pedals and the strip. That'd probably be the best, easiest, and cheapest option.
Interesting. I've just been looking at power supply options for a pedal board I'm putting together and had started to come to the conclusion that I could just use two or three power supplies, daisy chains for the lower-powered pedals and a strip. Would a strip be any more susceptible to hum than using a single dedicated multi-pedal power supply, as long as the individual supplies provided enough power?
(This is a guitar board - I have a Boss DD20 that I know draws a lot of power so it has its own supply but the other pedals run quite happily off a daisy chain.)
