Best professional rackmount wireless

As the title says, what in your opinions are the bess rackmountable wireless systems?

Audio bandwidth beats all others I've seen:
35hz - 20khz for both body pack and receiver.

It also gives that spec as ±2dB which is odd. Normally the frequency cut off points are measure to the standard -3dB point. [rheotorical] Does that mean ±2 over the full range, meaning it's very flat, or does it mean something entirely different!? [/rheotorical] Nothing I hate more than vague specs, and I've NEVER seen a fully disclosed frequency response spec from ANY manufacturer.

I'm not sure about 'best' but after years of cheap, crappy wireless units, I finally dropped $450 on a Sennheiser EW 172 G2 and have never looked back.

Built like a brick sh*#-house. Metal body pack transmitter. Metal receiver. Uses two AA batteries.

the ew172G2 really is the best bang for the buck, it's true. tone is great, built tough, enough channels to do a country-wide tour (at least), and less that $500!

only problems: it doesn't come with a case or rack adapter. you can get those seperate if you want. not that big a deal, anyway.

I work in audio on a very major rock bands tour right now and almost all our wireless stuff is shure, with exception of one akg wireless monitor system in the piles of shure stuff.

Look at the Sabine wireless units. Their 2.2 Ghz range is compliant with communication regulations worldwide. Built-in feedback suppressor, good, transparent compressor, incredible battery life, all-metal construction. I borrowed one for a few months--with just the antennae inluded with the unit and no boosters, the range was easily 250 ft (started hearing a delay from the time I saw my drummer hit the snare and when I heard it before I started walking back into the studio when we tested range), and nothing short of cinderblock walls stopped the signal. Multiple selectable frequencies, too. Unfortunately, I couldn't pony up the $1400 to buy the dual channel unit with wireless OM5 and beltpack, but my singer and I had a sweet ride while it lasted...
