Im thinking about buying a Playstation, but Im unsure as to exactly what I want.

Ive seen some bundled packages that include games, or movies for around $249, other for $299.
Some with 160GB some with 320gb, though Im not sure how much I'll need.

Im still browsing, but does anyone have any suggestions to help point me in the right direction?

I still have my orginal ps3 that came with only 60 GB of hardrive space and I have no issues with space. I play a lot of games, some you have to download to the HD. Still no issues in terms of space. I've always been a playstation guy so I say go for it. 160 should do for the average user

Plus the ps3 is ending its life cycle next year so I wouldn't buy one

I'm going to have to call BS on this one, the hardware still has a few more years to stretch it's limits. I've yet to see a game or anything else use up a bluray disc's or HDD's space to the point to call for a new console altogether. IMO, I think the Xbox will need to upgrade alot sooner than the PS3 will, and even that has another two or so years left in it.

GTA5 is going to be on the current generation, making a PS3 100% worth it. Craigslist ain't a bad idea though.

Agreed. Plus if it's anything like current big games it will probably be best to get it for PS3, Xbox will likely have two discs. Does anyone have anymore info on GTA5 in general though? I heard it was supposed to be in San Andreas again and that it's going to be as massive as real life LA, but that's it; It's coming out this year right?

Invalid Link Removed. So, they probably won't announce a new system for another year or even longer. Even once the system is announced, you got at least a year or longer after that before it comes out.

Ditto on Craigslist too. I got mine on there and it works great!

Edit: Get a Slim PS3 if you get one. Most people have issues with the older "fat" models. Their Blu-ray drives usually go bad.

I think thats all anyone knows right now, R* is being a total d*** about releasing any new information about it since the trailer.

Yeah, I remember that's how things were before GTA4 came out, it'll probably be another few months before we hear anything else official. Also, as if it's any kind of indicator:), I remember they released the trailer in early spring of 2007 and announced it would be out sometime that fall, even though they delayed it to spring 2008. I'm holding out hope that they release it this year as they released the trailer last fall.

The new wii is releasing this year, the Xbox the following. I'm sure that ps4 will release around the same time as the new Xbox. Just look at how much they are starting to discount.

And I'm sure you will be able to play gta 5 on the ps4, but no it won't be on that system since it has been announced for this gen.

Oh and look at high def computer graphics vs Xbox 360. This generation has defiantly ran its course
