'seattle was a riot' by anti-flag is a great bass line.
The bass player is ace but i wouldnt say he's as good as matt freeman.
hmmmm theres so many underground bands that have amazin bass lines but theres too many to mention!!

It's not hard to play. But, my gosh, it's iconic

Peaches by the Stranglers.

Really like what the Clash did with Police and Thieves. A light punking of the line on the Jr Murvin version. I probably would never have been punk if I never heard that.

Also, while it's fun to treat punk and talentless as synonyms, its worth saying that guitarists just strumming the chords flat out leaves a lot of space for a bassist to run all manner of lines without getting in anyone's way. It don't make everyone Thundercat. But it can make punk bass a whole lot of fun.
