I would like to know what you think the best power conitoner for a best price is. I am in the market for one and this isnt something is very tone specific so I figured I would ask my fellow TBer's.

I saved my pennies and went for the Furman AR-II Regulator. End of story!
Regarding power conditioners with light modules: Who else has thought that lights on the back of the power conditioner would be better than lights on the front. I almost never have a problem seeing the front of my rack gear on a dark stage, but constantly have a problem seeing the inside of the rack case (i.e. the back) on a dark stage. I always bring a flashlight to gigs with me, but if they could turn the lights around, that would be aces... although I wouldn't want to lose any outlets on the back due to space constraints... this must be one of those "cake and eat it too" situations![]()
The PL-8 Series II actually has a BNC connector on the back so that you can connect a gooseneck style light (littlelite, etc.) into the back.
Have you noticed any difference in the way your gear performs, using this unit? I've always been curious about any improvement in amplifier performance while using a true power conditioner/regulator.
