Best rig for a Stingray?

Hey guys, I'm poking around the Musicman department and i'm wondering what you think would be the best rig (head/cab) for a stingray. in this case, best meaning the set up that would bolster the stingray tone. if "Best" doesn't work, then what is your favorite set up for a 'ray? thanks!

Haha it had to be posted bro

In all seriousness, GK or Ampeg get out the gritty side of a stingray, but I've also heard good 'ray tones from the new Peavey stuff and Mesa.

I would have to say specifically a Stingray through a GK 2001 into a Mesa 2x15.

Well for an SR5, I've had an Eden/Nemesis NC-210P combo, a Demeter VTBP-201S + QSC PLX1602 + either a Bergantino HT322 or Schroeder 410R (older model), and lately through an EA iAmp-600 + EA CX-310.

I've also used it through a Demeter HBP-1 + Stewart World 2.1 + Schroeder 410L at a band practice.

The EA system sounds the best to me by far -- solid & punchy, with major clarity.

The Dem HBP-1/Stew 2.1/Schroe 410L next best -- great punch and cut-through.

The Dem 201S/PLX/Berg the next best -- unique vibe, but very musical and powerful.

I'd love to hear one through Genz Benz GBE1200 with my EA CX-310 as well, but haven't yet.
From what I've read from others about these, they outclass the GK stuff tone-wise and with regard to versatility.

in reality u cant go wrong with any big name company. The stinray with sound glorious out of Ampeg / GK / SWR / Aguilar / Mark Bass / Eden ect... I would go with Ampeg or something tube to give u a warmer feeling.

The best rig for a Stingray is a Raven Labs Universal Stereo Instrument Preamp through a QSC Powerlite 9.0 bi-amped into two JBL MR918's and two JBL MR 935's.
