The only moshpits that get violent are the "hardcore/emo" moshpits where people actually aim to hurt people. Punk/circle pits are so friendly most of the time, and metal kids are really friendly in pits too

You are the most misinformed person ever haha. It is actually the exact opposite, hardcore dancing is never supposed to touch another person and rarely does at a real hardcore show. The other pits are the ones where you're all bumping and smashing each other in a mass of chaos, hardcore dancing can be done by a single person, thus why a lot of them practice their dancing in their bedrooms.

Last saturday I went to the Ozzfest and I saw this "dancing" in person for the first time and it may very well have been the stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life.
