I always found that the tunes with the slow heavy groove parts have the best rhythm for the pit.
I got knocked out cold in the pit at a Circle Jerks show in the early 90's. Came to at IHOP. That was my last time in a pit, strangely enough.Atoz said:"Wild in the Streets" - Circle Jerks

The other pits are the ones where you're all bumping and smashing each other in a mass of chaos, hardcore dancing can be done by a single person, thus why a lot of them practice their dancing in their bedrooms.
