I'd also recommend a swr Baby blue or one of its many incarnations.

If only you knew someone who had a BBII for sale...

Surely running a poweramp as a slave from the BBII would work. Don't SWR now make a digital poweramp for this purpose?

For years I've stuck with my trusty G-K MB150E 1x12 combo. Its even managed a couple of low volume gigs and handled my eub!
I've used it for studio monitoring DI'd to desk and on stage as fold back.
Plug in a 4ohm extension cab and voila! 150watts.

Truly a piece of near vintage pro gear!

Pick one up s/h on a fleabay near you!

Rare as hen's teeth in the UK.:smug::smug:

+1 for Acoustic Image-I have an early Contra and it is great for practicing and studio. Someone mentioned the SWR BBlue-If you can find an original one-they are also great although the Acoustic Image gear is much more compact.

I picked up the Fender 100T for the 25W functionality (still plenty loud) and the Aguilar TH350 for my studio. The 100T has a much broader tonal range with the two channels than the TH350. But the TH350 is everything the TH500 is but without the added headroom (still plenty loud) and an effects loop.

I gotz to have my tubes but the TH350 made me a true believer in Aguilar’s ability to deliver a huge sound in a little Class D amp. I’ve tried them all and this is definitely worth the $400.00 is you want a really teeny tiny. I’m using it in the studio with a DB112 and it’s killer. I’ve tried all the Class Ds: G-K Fusion, GB Shtl and Stream, Markbass, Ashdown, Orange, Ampeg and the THs are the real deal.

Read the Fender 300/100T and the TH500/TH350 mega threads if you want more convincing opinions.

I bought a b50r and its for sale now. More coloration than i want. Phil jones bass cub should be here soon.

The 100t was great, but very specific tonally, and pretty large for home.

Had a TH500 and didnt dig it. Didnt sound "real" to me.

Loving alembic f1-x with a gk1001rb for power. Not exactly micro, but oh so tasty.
