Best Stage Tuner for dropped tuning?

I play a 5-string bass and for a lot of the songs, I drop my low B string to A. I need a stage tuner that will be reliable in detecting those low notes. The one I have now doesn't do well when I drop the B to an A... Help!

If all else fails, you can always tune the A string to the D string...

the turbo tuner ST-300 is what you want!

grabs fast, real analog strobe accurate, and will pick up super-low notes, like way below low B.

i won't use anything else for bass or guitar, and have the bench-top version at work.

TC Poly mini works really, really well and highly accurate. You can find them used now.

I can tell you that my Snark does not pickup the low B very well. It takes a minute, and jumps around randomly.
However, it is perfect on all the higher strings.

I'm not a super fan of the Pitchblack. I usually have to hit the string multiple times before I get a read on the Pitchblack. For Guitar it was awesome, bass.. I'm not that impressed. But in the end it still does the job.

I use this and it works great! Low real estate on the pedal board and it works very fast for low tuning.

I should clarify too that I currently have a Boss TU-3, TC Polytune Mini, and a Korg Pitchblack. All three will tune low below Low B (my band playes tuned down a half-step). The Polytune mini seems to be the fastest, TU-3 second, then the Pitchblack. Pitchblack is terrible in the outside in the sun, the others solve that problem.

I tried a Reverb clip on tuner on my 5 and I am happy with it. Good response time. CHEAP! Accurate. Faster than my $30 pedal tuner and more stable than my Korg Pitchback!

I have had good luck with all the Korg tuners that I have owned. I currently use a Pitchblack Pro. Reads any tuning I give it, including dropping the B string.

I also have a TU-3 and it works just fine - I switched to the Polytune just because of the form factor.
