The best sounding Trace cab I ever saw was the 1084H, the 8x10"
It was in Birmingham (UK) at music live in late 2000. David Jacob had a V8, one of these cabs and beautiful 6 string, green Status bass. I'd love one myself but practicality goes out of the window. It would look so cool with my V4... If you look at my "previous owned list" you'll see I've owned most Trace cabs. Personally, I've found my Peavey cab to be best but out of the Trace Elliot boxes, the 1248H (4x12" + horn) was the best. Its different as well because its a sealed (infinite baffle) rather than the others that were all vented units....
