Connect your comp to your amp with an XLR cable, then patch the amps 1/4" inputs with a cable like the one I linked and you are golden!

This is how I run my QSC RMX 1450, when I want parallel mono.

I could just use the switches on the amp, but they're small, and annoying.

Doesn't the plx1804 have a switch that sets both amps to one input?

or maybe you scrap the board and buy one more flexible or a dual mono/stereo comp ?

or dump your 1804 and snag a 2402 pocketing the change - just use the parallel mono...

The 1804 does parallel mono just fine. You just use a short jumper cable, not a switch.
