Best years of manufacture for used American Standard P

Search function had limited info especially consider the age of the post.
I seem to recall that some of the earlier models were not really as well made as the later years. I'm thinking it was maybe 2012 and later were consider better made?

Also curious about year of manufacture for the Standard P's.

I gather they are both very good but the American versions are more consistent and possibly lighter.

Looking for a decent maple neck neck without a ski jump and less than 9 lbs.
Should Lull and Nash be on the list too?
 
I would say American Standards from 08 until now. That’s the year they started putting the graphite rods in the neck and I believe better hardware. The only part that might be lacking is the pickups but there are many replacement options there.
