This is your own member LCW pulling a craigslist scam. I made up the BS post about the refinished MIJ Jazz Special because after closer inspection, the base I bought from LCW appears to have a newer clear coat on the headstock and a possible replacement decal. So I tried in a round about way to find out if the JP-555 body number could verify make since I now know I can't believe anything that comes out of LCW's mouth. Nothing wrong with trying to make a buck, but blatantly lying to persuade someone to buy is despicable. I do believe in Karma and the pencil neck will eventually get what he deserves....

How do you know for sure that's who it is? Aerodynes aren't exactly uncommon - there are several in stores around here, and a few in the underground rock circuit in Hawaii.

They sell for closer to $750ish though new.

Either way, I think you need a great deal more proof before calling someone out like that.

look at the pics (sorry about the "BASS" sp). Unmistakeable. His profile says he's from Albany. It's an Albany craigslist ad. Trust me it's him. Funny thing is, I was simply trying to find out a little bit about my bass and found this site and him having a good laugh about me paying what I did, and the fact that he had a hard case with it which he kept. Gotta love the internet...
