On a side note. Been trying to get in touch with Mike for about a week now.
Email, voice mail. Texts. Nothing as far as a response. I understand the man is busy but at the beginning he was super responsive and easy to get a hold of to talk on the phone when considering one of his cabinets. Now that I've purchased and awaiting for delivery I haven't heard from him after numerous attempts. Is he okay??

Someone has a new toy .

Tonight will be my first experience with one of these cabs. Powering it with a D800 and will play my Warwick Corvette FNA and Elrick platinum 5 strings.

Absolutely. I can't think of a setup I would like better than I have. The Bodai 110s are a breeze to move and have a enormous output.


On another note..... I was looking into ordering a Tantra, when Mike reached out to me. Apparently he is no longer working with Sonic Farm, and has another amp project in the works.

SF still sells them, not sure if preamp only or full blown amp heads. I'll be curious to see what Mike comes up with for the next version, but Im such a fan of the 2di4 that its a bummer that the next amp wont have that luscious front end. Knowing Mike, the next version will impossibly be an improvement on the Tantra. Also, I smell a Pascal power module!

I am extremely happy with my RAD (1000ASP) amp. that being said... the Pascal module is really spectacular, thats whats in the Wayne Jones powered cabs and they are face meltingly powerful.

I have a strong suspicion that any future amps by Mike, including powered cabs will use the Pascal. Its more powerful, lighter, smaller, and can be modified more easily for particular applications.

From what I gathered (which isn't much), it was a communication breakdown and trouble with support/filling orders. Take that with a grain of salt, as none of that is 100% confirmed. They seem to come up with a heck of a product, but some partnerships aren't meant to last. I am stoked to see what comes next, and will probably hold off on any amp purchases until this next beast drops.

Boy that sounds killer. I was toying with the idea of a rack rig agian, but no way if there is gonna be a semi-affordable lightweight powerhouse available.
