Big thanks to Bergantino!!!

I have a Bergantino B|Amp and NXT212 speaker. I called hoping to contact somebody from customer service there and was pleasantly surprised to speak with Jim himself.

His answers to my questions contained much much more useful information than what I was looking for and demonstrated that this person running this company truly loves what he does and is personally very invested not only in seeing his gear used optimally, but in ensuring that those who use it are set up more broadly for success in what we are trying to accomplish.

It's really difficult to thank someone adequately for providing that level of customer service and help; so I want everyone on here to know that when you buy Bergantino, you're buying directly from the guy who designs them and he's there 100% for every customer.

Jim is one of the very best people that I’ve dealt with over the phone. I had a faulty 1/4” jack short out in one of my rackmounted preamps, which caused a horrific low frequency tone, which wiped out the voice coil in one on my high frequency horns.

I called their number, fully expecting to purchase a new one, and just like when you called, Jim answered the phone. He immediately shipped out a new voice coil and he refused to let me pay!

They don’t get any better than Jim in my book.

I've got to add chime in and say that Jim took time on a phone call years back to help me decide which of his cabs might best suit what I was looking for. There was only one local/convenient place for me to go and try out Bergantino cabs. I wanted to understand what was available relative to my needs before heading there to be sure they had what I was most interested in trying out. Jim's advice on the phone was spot on and the CN212 cab was exactly what I was looking for and exactly how he described it. To this day it is one of my all time favorite cabs.

While I do not own any Berg heads, I have played them numerous times and the tone and quality is second to none. As for Berg cabs, they are some of the absolute smoothest sounding and best balanced across the entire frequency range I've ever heard. Build quality is top tier as well.

Thanks Jim!!

I called the company once. I had purchased a used 12" cab with a very badly sliced handle grip. Jim B. answered the phone and sent me a new one - no charge.

I had an issue 10-12 years ago with a Shuttle 6.0 head, and I received an email to call this XXX number. Jeff G. himself answered the phone.

I called MTD once, and Mike T. answered the phone.

It is very difficult for big stores to compete with customer service like these guys offer.

Excellent, and as it should be.
Viva, Bergantino!

It's great to hear that some companies still have excellent customer service. It's a rare thing these days.

I love Bergantino cabs. It took me many years (and lots of wasted money) to find the perfect cab for my needs but once I got a Bergantino my search was over. They're as good as it gets IMO, at least for my taste. This is just another reason to keep coming back.

Hear! Hear!

I have the classic Berg “mini stack” the HT112/EX112. I needed to order covers for them, I called and was quite pleasantly surprised when I found myself speaking with Jim Bergantino himself. He answered my questions about the covers and took my order. He then asked about how I was liking the speakers, and how they worked for my applications. He was genuinely interested.

A year or so later, the ER (extended range) versions of the HT112 and EX112 were released. I called and again got Mr. Bergantino on the line. I asked whether he would recommend that I upgrade to the new versions. After discussing what I was looking for, he actually told me that for my purposes to just boost the lows and low-mids a bit on my amp and keep using the Berg speakers that I had. He could have easily persuaded me to buy the new versions, but he didn’t.

Amazing customer service! I can’t really see myself ever buying anything other than Bergantino speakers in the future.

Between my Bergantino speakers and my Genz-Benz (Jeff Genzler, Andy Field (agedhorse), Roger (hasbeen), Scott) amps, and my recently acquired Genzler Magellan Pre/DI I have equipment from some the the upper most tier of customer service and quality.

Several years back I bought an NV115 and when I unpacked it I found it had a weird rattle. Contacted Rocket Music and was soon emailing with Jim. He went out of his way to figure out the problem, first replacing the driver then working with Greg at Rocket and replacing the cab. Turned out to be a tag on the driver that was rattling (the replacement also had a tag that should have been taken off). But Jim was fantastic and made me feel like a very important customer (Oh, it's that JT Thisdell of the hugely popular band Possum! Sometimes these guys even get paid!).

And as a bonus his gear is fantastic, sold the NV115 and now have CN112 and 210's.
