ASR, if you go to BD's "Discography" section on his site, you can get some catalog numbers for various recordings listed. If you take that number, along with the label it's on, to a reputable outlet (I assume Blockbusters - I know HMV here in Canada does this) you can ask them to special order it for you. They can usually do it with just the title & label it's on as well. I've laid my hands on some hard-to-find recordings by doing just that.

I really need to get a new photo of meself there, I look like someone dumped in my Wheaties in that one actually....or mebbe I was sucking a lemon just before they took it! Well, my new toy (NS Design CR5M) is SUPPOSED to be in this week (it @$#%^(!@#%*n' better be ), maybe that will prompt a new and happier visage...

I've seen him play several times and must say I didn't care for it. I thought he played fast and all but didn't play very musical. It sounded as if he were practicing a bunch of scales. When he started slapping he slapped real fast and actually lost the beat. His tone wasn't to my liking either. It was too thin and sounded more like a hollow body jazz guitar. He has flash galore but little else.

Outstanding player, but his tone totally ruins it for me. I still listen to it when i can, but i just abhor his tone. Bleh!

Well I don't know ... you try to be helpful and what do you get! I was just thinking that if you went over to Bassists, you would find more mentions of Bill Dickens, than in O/T.

On the photos - it's difficult isn't it? When I take photos, I can send them away to get a Kodak photo CD and include them here. But any I have taken will not of course, include me! All the photos of me, that I have are not in any digital format and I don't have a scanner. But of course, I do have lots of photos of my favourite bass, which must contain some essence of my musical character within it by now.. you just have to look harder!
