Loved Dennis' book. He seems a very intelligent, likeable dude, and he's definitely a highly influential and pioneering rock bassist with a great stage presence. Kudos to you both!

In 2015, I had the pleasure to meet Dennis Dunaway and start to make for him a 1/4 scale miniature replica of his famous Billion Dollar Jazz Bass. It was a huge challenge because there is a lot of rhinestones and mirror circles. I had to find the right ones to fit well with the 1/4 scale... It took some months but finally I made it and the miniature is now on Dennis's home.
I start with some pics of the making of.
First the back of the bass with all the scratchs, same as on the original one.

EAZTITI, I've always wondered about the mirrors, some of the smaller ones seem copper colored, are they discolored or not mirrors at all?

They discolored, all were real mirror, some went off and need to be fix again, so, the mirror disappear with the time.
