Bipassing Fender Rumble 500 Preamp

So, I just recently purchased a Fender Rumble 500 v3 from Sweetwater to use as my bass amp in my band. I wanted to bypass the preamp by the return of my effects loop to run my Sansamp Bass Driver a as the di. I read in the manual that the effects loop is post the preamp section of the amp. Is there any point to running into the return in this case? Thanks for any constructive help.

.... or does this just mean when the loop is complete it is after the preamp. I think I may have answered my own question, but I think it is still safe to ask.

Yes, when you plug your preamp into the effects return you are bypassing the internal preamp section. The insert point is after (post) the input and EQ section.
