Birthday gig report, Seattle show 4/15

Dunno if this is a no-no to post here, but I'm going for it ...

I encourage all my bass brethren to GTG at the Hummingbird Saloon in the Columbia City sect of Seattle tomorrow nite for a FREE show to help celebrate my 48th circle around the sun!

My band Star Meets Sea will be playing an entire new 45 minute set at a new venue for us. I anticipate a handful of friends already, and I'm always looking to make more ... so if you're nearby, come down and say hi!

I think we'll go on right at 1030

Gig went great! Lots of friendly faces, our new set totality killed, & the owner of the place definitely wants us back.

It was the first show i took out my new (to me) Genz neo 212 (w/Shuttle 6.2 on top.) Our drummer (who's kind of a tube snob) couldn't get over how much punch and clarity my rig had, and added to our sound ... looks like the V4b & 410 will be staying in the practice space from here on in.
