Black op money

i think we're lucky to have understanding partners without having to resort to black money ops.
Am divorced and now happily married to the right person this time (8 years in - going well!!).

Fortunate and blessed, yes! For me, I don’t think luck has much to do with it - more like wisdom and experience, and choosing to be each other’s biggest supporter.

I understand the idiom - ‘life is the worst teacher, gives you the exam before the lesson’. I am a slow learner it seems!

The other saying I now understand - ‘You get what you tolerate’ - which works both ways!

Those who have a significant other or are married... did you keep a secret money stash for GAS time? I called "black op money" and slept inside an old socket, far away from the wife's eyes. The problem is intercepting the goodies just before being accountable, like "another toy at home" and being summoned long and hard.
So... how your guys doing? secret stash? hide bank account of simply, "I spend my money on the way I want it"
I'm the opposite: I salt away money so I can buy stuff for her without her seeing evidence of a purchase before I've given her the gift!
