Black or Chrome knobs?

What color knobs?

Well guys, i have some electronics upgrades in the works, and i am going to need new knobs on my bass.
I'm usually a diehard Strat knob guy, because i need the numbering on the side to dial in my settings, but because the bass will have a stacked pot, that is no longer an option...

I was going to do metal dome knobs.
There will be 3 regular knobs, and one stacked knob.
The question is whether to go with black or chrome?

My bass has chrome hardware, and i have never been a fan of mixing up different colored hardware, however, i might be able to get away with it if it's just knobs, because knobs generally don't match the rest of the hardware.

I'm worried that with the chrome knobs, it's bringing way too much attention toward the control plate, and making it stick out from the rest of the body.
With black knobs, it sort of ties into the whole black and chrome vibe on the rest of the body.

What do you guys think?
Does black look out of place with otherwise chrome hardware?
Should i stick with chrome?

Here are a couple of pictures. Keep in mind that there will be four knobs, not just two.
And sorry, the bass is dirty, and i take bad pictures.

Carrots. I vote Black "Strat" knobs.

That's my preference too, but like i said, it's out of the question, because of the stacked pot...

You should go for all black hardware.

I'm not going to spend $200+ to change out my tuners, bridge, straplocks, etc...
I like the chrome better as well.

a black control plate is a relatively cheap mod
That's a really bad look when one piece of hardware (especially a control plate) doesn't match the rest of the hardware.
I literally laugh at loud whenever i see a chrome Jazz bass with a black control plate.
With black hardware, it's all or nothing.
