A question for Blast Cult owners. What area of the fingerboard do you prefer for clickie pickup placement? I'm about to get a new pickup with clickie and would like to see what you guys think.
Thanks!

Thanks, Duke! do you get the slapping sound with your bridge pick up then? The clickie is sooo finicky, I would love to do away with it.

I get it all with my bridge pickup. Sounds better to me. I tend to use two way or three way cabs, so I have either a good mid driver or sometimes a mid driver and a really good tweeter so that helps.

That makes sense. What preamp and bridge pickup do you recommend?

I like the Blast Cult pickup a lot, personally. Just the normal Monolux. For pres, there's a few cool things, depending on budget. I've been using the Grace Designs FELIX, but it's stupid expensive! DTAR Solstice has really nice pres, but you'll need additional eq. Radial PZ Pre is also pretty darn good.

Got the new Channel Blaster 2 installed by Jason, and he placed at the midpoint of the fingerboard. Sounds good to me at that location.
